About Samantha

Hi! I'm Samantha. I'm a nurturing, playful and reliable nanny who is looking to help care for a child part-time. In high school, I worked as a mother's helper and babysitter for 2 years for 2 families, the children ranging from 3 weeks to 9 years old. I was a teacher at an early learning center for 3 years in the past, working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Most recently, I was a nanny to my niece for 2 years starting when she was 13 months old. I'm the oldest of 8 children so I grew up seeing different rates of childhood development in 7 unique people. I love teaching children about nature and music and getting them outside to play. I'm a believer in helping develop their imaginations, reading with them daily, letting them discover art and their creativity, teaching them about kindness and empathy and fostering their independence and individuality.
