Since I was 14 I have worked at summer camps aimed at children ages 5-13, and learned how to keep children entertained. I have privately babysat/nannied for five years. I ensure kids are engaged in a wide range of activities such as in the arts/crafts, athletic activities, brain games, some educational games (science experiments etc), and imagination boosting games for younger children. I encourage children to focus on the real world by limiting technology time to at most an hour (if possible). I create routines for the kids to make sure they know what is coming, and I create these routines with the parents and perfect it with the kids. I set boundaries during my first visit to help earn the child's respect, and understand their limits as well. I can cook, lightly clean, and even tutor if necessary; I have taught one of my client's children how to read. I currently attend GWU, and will be available in/around Foggy Bottom when in session. I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
