About Rosalyn

I'd describe my personality as honest, supportive, and kind. I like tutoring because I am able to see student growth and encourage ownership in their learning. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to help students in Reading, English Language Arts and Writing become critical and creative thinkers. I started tutoring when I joined Americorps in my twenties, created a summer and tutoring program in my thirties, and now tutor students during my tenure at my school. In my spare time, I like to read, write, and most of all spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is that I believe in student growth and transparency in my best practices. My skills include reading comprehension, writing, and literary theory. I also have experience in Social Studies.
