About Rita

Hi my name is Rita and I am interested in working as a nanny with your child or children. One child or two children is my preference. I have an extensive background in working with children from infants to teens. I worked in day care settings, I worked as a substitute teacher in the Capital District area. I then went on to work at The Center for Disabilities and then a Caseworker for Social Services. I worked as Personal caregiver with child who was Autistic. It was a Respite program. I was employed at St. Peter's Partner's as a Patient and Family Liason for five years however due to COVID, the waiting room at the hospital closed and the services that I provided could not be administered. My primary focus would be to foster your child's development physically, emotionally and cognitively. I enjoy reading, storytelling, music and movement. I tune into the child's needs and I am compassionate however I know how to set boundaries and limits.
