My name is Rita, I am an energetic and loving Nanny. My passion is caring for children of all ages, and I love taking care of newborns. I have many years of experience. I have worked with newborns, toddlers, multiples, infant twins and premature infant triplets with special needs. I am infant/toddler certified and First Aid/CPR certified. I am currently working full time for the same family for the past 5 years. The children have grown and will be attending school in the fall. I am looking for new full time position starting soon. I have several references available upon request. Thank you very much for looking at my profile.

To whom it may concern. Rita A. was employed by us for 12 months, helping take care of our triplet infants. We are very sad to lose Rita because we moved. Rita was a godsend during the most stressful year of our lives. Rita is a gentle person who was focused and loving with our children. She was a calm presence in what was often a stressful environment when the children weren't doing well. Our babies were born three months early and had medical complications related to their prematurity. We required 2 caregivers round the clock for many months and Rita worked side by side with me during the daytime for 50 hours a week. Rita is extremely conscientious about anything regarding the babies' safety - she handled the preparation of a complex group of medications and formulas for us and would catch errors I had made. I would absolutely trust my children alone with Rita. Never once in the many hours working with her did I question her judgment with the children. What sets Rita apart from the many other wonderful caretakers we have known is how intuitive she is in particular with infants. She is a true baby whisperer. She worked well with the many therapists - occupational therapy, speech therapy, early intervention, visiting nurses, home health aides- who came to the house. She asked excellent questions at doctor appointments and was always receptive to new strategies to address the babies' issues. Rita is one of the most expert feeders I have met amongst the many who tried to address our infants' feeding issues. She was persistent, thoughtful, and endlessly patient. She always made an effort to engage in developmentally appropriate play with the children and at the same time got all the chores done. She is meticulous with laundry, cleaning, and germs. She is also reliable and honest - correcting me if I made errors in pay. I simply cannot recommend Rita enough for a term infant, for multiples, for children with medical issues, or for children with particular needs. Your infant will be exquisitely cared for, loved and delighted in by Rita. I am sure she will be a gift to the next family she works with, just like she was for us. We will truly miss her. Please do not hesitate to contact myself or my husband with further questions. Anne N., MD MPH Tomas N., MD
