About Riley

I am a middle child, so I grew up babysitting my sister and family friends all of the time. I nannied for 3 girls, ages 12, 9, and 6; mostly helping out after school and driving to activities. I taught a beginner movement class for 2-year-olds at my dance studio for 5 years, and was an after-school care teacher for 4 years for students Pre-K through first grade. I was a paraprofessional aide in K-4th grade special education classroom. I helped out in the classroom all year assisting the teacher, and was a 1-to-1 aide to a student over the summer. Despite having a lot of experience with the younger ages, I have also enjoyed working with young adults. I tend to give those older kids more space to do their own thing, but I will check in on them from time to time to see if they need anything and are on task with the things they need to get done. I have a car, so I am happy to help out with after school pick ups, driving to extracurriculars, grabbing a snack, etc.
