About Richard

I have 38 years experience in health care including professional level CPR. I have extensive clinical experience with a wide variety of medical conditions and have transitioned out of private practice after spending much of the past 2 years caring for my mother. My father had multiple sclerosis so I grew up watching and learning how to love and support someone with physical challenges. I have experience with dementia, bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, feeding and incontinence. I also have experience with a wide range of medical equipment including transfer boards/chairs, Hoyer lifts, suction devices, wheelchairs and many physical medicine devices. I understand the desire to live at home and maintain as much independence as possible but know that requires extra help and support. My unique combination of experience, compassion and knowledge allow me to provide an exceptional level of care and empathy.
