About Ren

My name is Ren, and I am Japanese American both fluent in Japanese and English. Unfortunately there was no option to add Japanese as a language. I recently graduated Cornell with more than four different research experience while at Cornell University. I have also attended Stuyvesant High School and can offer assistance with SHSAT prep. I have had experience in teaching and care for students since high school as a TA to college as a student in science outreach. I'd describe my personality as optimistic, thoughtful, and positive. I like tutoring because my greatest source of inspiration has always come from my personal tutors I had growing up. In my spare time, I like to fish, take photos, read a book, crochet, play my violin, or cook. One thing you should know about me is I make sure that your child's growth is the priority. That being said, I also care about their safety and would love to be someone they can confidently rely on when you are not available due to work.
