About Reese

I'd describe my personality as patient, energetic, and caring! I like working with kids because I am amazed by children's creativity and curiosity and enjoy being youthful/playful again. I'm looking for a job where I can get relevant experience for a pediatric nurse practitioner while also saving money for college! I started babysitting professionally when I was 16, but grew up with many younger cousins that I would babysit. I also led a children's after school club, retreats, and summer camps where I planned activities and games. Currently, I volunteer at the UVA hospital in the pediatric/PICU department. In my spare time, I like to bake, do yoga, travel, try new hobbies, and go to coffee shops to study! One thing you should know about me is that I am CPR, BLS, and EMT certified. My first skill is entertain kids for hours. I am also a great homework-helper! Lastly, studying child psych at UVA has taught me how to be patient with children and understand their behaviors.
