I have 26 years experience working as a newborn care specialist and nanny. I am now working exclusively with newborns on temporary assignments as a Newborn Care Specialist and Doula in Training. I am trained in all aspects of newborn care including: cultivating a feeding and sleep schedule; crying and calming techniques, growth and development, playtime and basic care, such as bathing, bottle cleaning and sterilization, breast milk and formula. Monitored diaper, feeding and sleeping activity as well as temperament and behavior. I know the signs for colic, reflux and formula allergies. I have experience with twins and pre-mature babies. I've helped with postpartum care and support for mothers as well. I have breastfeeding training and assisted with positioning, latch-on techniques, common problems and breast pump use. Cared for mothers recovering from C-sections. I am TRUSTLINE approved and have a clean driving record.
