About Rachel

Hello! I'd love to use my knowledge and passion to take good care of your furry feline! I firmly believe in minimizing the stress of your fur-baby by providing routine care and enrichment. I want to minimize your worry, too, and will provide frequent updates and open communication. I'd describe my personality as caring, reliable, and passionate. I've had cats throughout childhood, but I began working seriously with animals around 4 years ago when I started volunteering at a local shelter. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, garden, rock climb, run, and spend time with family. One thing you should know about me is that I'm dependable and enjoy having a reliable schedule that doesn't change too much. My skills include enrichment: I understand how cats enjoy playing in their environment; health monitoring: I know the warning signs for illness and medical emergencies in cats; and cleaning/sanitizing: I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty to clean and sanitize any messes!
