About Rachel

I have been working with elementary age children for over 10 years. My mother was a teacher for 42 years, and I spent many summers helping her with her summer school classes. I was a paid early childhood teacher with a focus on early literacy and speech development. I love reading and science. My philosophy is that education should be fun so children are more engaged in what they are learning. I have a lot of experience in essay writing and editing. I have won nearly $150k of essay based scholarships and routinely edit my friends' papers. I am studying marine biology with a minor in chem, so science is something I can help with as well.
