About Rachael

I am an experienced tutor and teaching assistant who loves to help others learn. I've become very good at breaking down core concepts and explaining things in different ways until the knowledge is truly grasped and therefore usable (how I teach everything to myself). I'll teach anyone who really wants to learn, but am probably best at middle school through undergraduate subjects in mathematics (algebra through calculus) and physics (general, statics, dynamics, thermo, fluids). I have my BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, but am also good at writing, specifically essays, research papers, and scientific writing, and would be happy to help with these as well. I've tutored peers and younger students since high school through undergrad and graduate school. I love teaching others and I've always been fascinated with learning and how people learn.
