About Johnny

Hello! I have been tutoring now for 10 years. I have a wide variety of students I have taught, from elementary and middle school students to college age and adult learners. My primary expertise is in math, science, engineering, and other STEM fields, but I have several years teaching the other subjects listed in my profile. I have worked as a private tutor, providing homeschooling services for families, worked in group tutoring sessions, student taught several college courses, substitute taught high school, and guest lectured on several community outreach projects aimed at increasing community engagement with modern scientific advancement. I have received training from the University of Colorado-Boulder's Learning Assistant and Student Teaching courses that offer communal discussion on current research into effective pedagogical practices and how best to incorporate these techniques into the modern learning environments we find ourselves in.
