I have been tutoring students for about a year now. I believe in a collaborative approach where the students' voices are heard and strategies designed to help them achieve what they want are tailored to their strengths. I try to utilize visual aids as well as writing out information to gauge students' engagement level. I try to employ a patient and supportive demeanor when working with students as they need reassurance that they can be successful in whatever subject they are struggling with.
