About Patrick

Hello, I am a Special Education teacher with the Anchorage School District and am hoping to find part-time work as a companion & caregiver for a senior in need. I have had personal experience supporting elder family members and loved ones with a variety of needs. Ranging from mobility challenges, hearing impairment, and cognitive delays, to daily tasks such as medication management, communicating with providers, cooking, and bathing. I enjoy spending time with seniors, talking, listening, and sharing new experiences. Throughout my career working with children, I have had years of training in de-escalation techniques and managing aggressive behaviors, skills that translate well to many life situations. Ideally I can find a family or person in need of occasional help, respite nights/days, transportation and maintain an on-going relationship.
