About Donna
Experience: 5 yrs
As a mature woman, I've had many years of caregiving, starting in my teens with my grandmother, then my own caregiving business in Colorado, to Alaska. Most recently had the incredible blessing of spending the last 2 years in 24/7 care of my 93-year-old father as we journeyed through his battle with cancer. Now with both parents gone, I am available to once again provide care to others. In November 2019 I relocated to Anchorage to be near my son and his family, and loved serving seniors and their families in this area until 2022 when I needed to care for my own parents. As a proactive person, I see needs and fill them; yet will always check first to not overstep my bounds. Joyfully offer cleaning, cooking, laundry, transporting to appointments or other tasks as needed, including organizing, clerical and computer. I am available midweek mornings until 1:00 pm, and all day on Monday and Thursday. Grandkids are my focus on Friday-Sunday!

Donna provided excellent care for my mom during a period of time when my mom required a lot of caregiving. Donna was proactive, always following my list of desired responsibilities. However, I would come into the home to be pleasantly surprised by the “extras” Donna did if she had additional time. I was so pleased to see that Donna had collected additional containers of water for my mom, and labeled each one, in case of a power outage. That was certainly going above and beyond in care! Donna had an upbeat and positive attitude with my mom as well. I would definitely recommend you give Donna a try, and see if this would be a good fit for you and your loved one!
