About Patricia

I provide individualized lessons for students that revolves around strengthening their weaknesses & building on their strengths. I focus on making sure that my students have a solid foundation in order to successfully navigate through more complex material. I do this by making sure that I teach not only parallel to what is taught in their curriculum but also incorporate material from previous levels in order for the student to obtain a complete mastery. Each tutoring hour consists of a 50 min lesson with the student and a 10 min mini conference with parents about where the student is & what our goals are. I make sure to open lines of communication with my student's teachers in order to build a support system for their success. I have 5 yrs of experience tutoring students & have been able to leave my students not only understanding the material but enjoying it. My goal is to empower my students to achieve their maximum academic potential.
