About Patricia

As a certified teacher with over 23 years of teaching experience, I have worked with general education students, as well as students with learning disabilities to help them reach their overall academic goals in a fun and encouraging environment. My approach to tutoring depends on the child's individual needs. The first step is to assess your child to determine his/her learning gaps. I use these results alongside their IEP goals to create individualized lessons to help him/her achieve his/her full potential. My favorite materials include anything Orton Gillingham such as Wilson Reading which is a multi-sensory approach.
