About Paloma

Our family was looking for a temporary nanny for a week to transition our 3 mo old to daycare. We reached out to and interviewed several candidates, and Paloma really stood out to us in terms of her friendliness, curiosity about the job, and her glowing references from a family she'd recently worked with. We were looking for a nanny who understood and loved young infants, who was comfortable and experienced with independently managing their schedule and needs yet also receptive to our feedback, and was good with cats and dogs. Paloma really bonded with our baby. I was touched by how she made her the number one priority and used very gentle voices and songs to engage her during play, during diaper changes, and also when she was very fussy. Paloma was always patient with her, smiled at her constantly, and helped us with transitioning our 3 mo to accepting more bottles over the week in preparation for daycare. We could really feel how much she loves infants and that made us feel comfortable with leaving our baby in her care. She was also very respectful with keeping our home clean and even proactively offered to sort and fold our baby clothes by size to help us organize, which was very thoughtful of her. Our 3 mo old smiled so much at Paloma, and actually really laughed for the first time when Paloma was singing pre-school songs to her.
