I began my career in education as a math tutor in high school. During that time, I was able to raise the student's math grade from a C+ to an A-. Later I became an after school teacher where I taught multiple classes to PK-5th graders while earning my BA in international students. I have experience in summer schools as an enrichment teacher for middle school age students. Currently I am working part time as a program coordinator for a non-profit organization that teaches and mentors young women in middle school and high school in the NYC area. I am pursuing an MA in international educational development.
