Hello! I recently graduated with MA in history and want to go into teaching. In the meantime I'd like to tutor or babysit part time. I love love talking to kids and spending time with them. My mother was a pediatric neurologist so I have some exposure with kids and childcare through her. I'm funny, attentive and responsible. I think kids are very smart and look at the world differently. I genuinely think adults can learn so much from their perspective. I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling, gives me joy and actually contributes in some capacity. I worked with kids when I was in high school babysitting here and there. Since then I've worked as a TA with college students. In my spare time, I like to climb, listen to jazz and go to the movies! One thing you should know about me is that went to Indiana Uni as a PhD student in History. Then realized academia wasn't for me! I like teaching way more so I mastered out. Now I'm back in NYC and trying to find a teaching position.
