Hi! I'm Nina. I've worked in social work since 2009, with 15 years in child and family work, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Childcare has been a steady thread in my career - preschool teacher's assistant in college, a year in a therapeutic nursery with infants 0-6 months, an after-school program with elementary kids in Hawaii, and over a decade as an on-call private nanny there. After relocating to California, I'm easing back into hands-on childcare - it's been a few years since I nannied regularly, but it's something I've always loved and am excited to return to. My clinical background means I bring something different than a typical sitter: I'm attuned to big emotions, transitions, and what's really going on underneath a hard moment. I pair that with patience, warmth, and a love of childhood whimsy and fun! First Aid/CPR certified, comfortable from newborn care through the everyday ups and downs of older kids.
