When hiring Nancy, we discussed expectations for healthy growth and development. While we observed her to be caring, we did not always feel she had the best judgement caring for our infant. Several months after hiring her, we learned from a third party that she had brought her own stroller to assist with our son's care. We did not feel the stroller was appropriate for his age and were not aware it was being used in our home. It is our belief it was used to assist with sleeping. Over the months that Nancy provided care to our son, he had issues with sleeping and he did not progressively meet his motor milestones. It is unclear to us the time our son spent awake or asleep in that stroller so we don't know whether it played a role in the issues he was having. We never felt she had bad intentions but we were disappointed. We wish she had come to us and discussed concerns and baby gear for use in our home. Our son is now healthy and thriving but Nancy was not the best fit for our family.
