About Nalissa

I'd describe my personality as fun, outgoing, and detail oriented. I like working with kids because I love making a positive impact on them during their childhood. Kids want to feel heard and understood. When I give them the attention they need, I help them grow into a confident person who is not afraid to speak their minds. I'm looking for a job that fosters growth and happiness and where I can help others be/feel better, and where learning happens for me or for the person I am caring for. I started working with kids in 2019 at Kumon Tutoring Center teaching math and English to children ages 3 to 8. I got to see students improve on their math and reading skills and I could see the joy in their faces when they get 100 on their worksheets. In my spare time, I like to read, crochet, cook, and clean my space. One thing you should know about me is that I am obsessed with the color purple. My skills include conflict management, entertainment, ensuring safe and clean environments.
