Aloha! Born and raised on Maui, I have been caring for children of all ages for over half a decade. I am passionate about healthy childhood development, the arts, nature, and promoting learning through play. I strongly value health and safety, having fun, and assuring we learn something new together along the way! I have years of experience in child care and non-profit youth development work, creating and facilitating programs that promote education, character development, and healthy lifestyles activities for children and teens. I've worked as a nanny, a home care aide, an educator, and a youth non-profit Director, caring for children of all ages in both large and small groups. I have experience with special needs, disabled, and neurodivergent children, and also offer special needs services. I was so happy to have Monica spend some time with my 8 year old daughter while we were visiting Maui. Monica is bright, happy, very personable and very reasonable. She took direction well and came with her own ideas and enthusiasm to mix fun, pool, art and down time to suit my daughter's needs and energy level! Monica is articulate, kind, mature and such a delight. I highly recommend and will share her info with friends who need some sitter Aloha in Maui.
