About Mona

Mona is exceptional with young children. She has cared for our two little girls together (now age 2 and 3) full time for over a year, including living with us through extended travel out of town and some overnights. She handles the intensity of caring for two young children with confidence, seemingly unlimited patience, and an unwavering focus on safety. Our girls absolutely adore her, and it is clear that she genuinely loves them too. I have zero hesitations leaving my children entirely in Mona’s capable, loving care — which, as you know, the value of can’t be overstated! What impresses me most is the way Mona listens to children, takes their feelings seriously, and communicates in a way they can understand. She helps them work through difficult moments while teaching kindness, independence, and respect. I have honestly taken notes from watching her and aspire to handle certain challenging parenting situations as thoughtfully as she does!!! Mona is also a safe driver, willing traveler, and capable household manager who takes initiative and keeps things running smoothly. So frequently I will turn the corner in my house and be delighted that Mona has jumped in to, say, deep clean of the kitchen and keep everything running well. I would especially recommend her to a family looking for someone experienced with newborn nights, multiple young children, or travel. She would bring tremendous love, skill, and care to another family.
