About Miriam

Hi! I've been helping kids find a love for stories since I was a kid myself. In the fifth grade, I was the reading buddy for a struggling first grader. By the end of our time together, he was reading at a mid-third grade level! I have accomplished a lot in my life since then and that is still one of my proudest achievements. Stories are what I love most in this world. I love them so much I went to school for it! I graduated Cum Laude in 2021 from Ithaca College with a degree in Theatre Studies. This was a non-performance based degree where I got to spend four years learning about how to write, read and talk about stories. In addition to the study of story, I was able to take classes in education that helped expand upon what I had learned from my vast experience working with children over the years (I have been a camp counselor at many summer camps, a babysitter and worked at a daycare for my last two years of high school).
