About Mikaela

Hello! My name is Mika (Me-kah); I use they/them pronouns. I am an associate mental health therapist, completed my master's degree in marriage and family therapy in 2022. I am looking to support you and your family's needs part-time as I work to build my own practice! I have 5 years of experience as a nanny and child swim instructor. I have also spent the last year working as a school therapist for kids K - 8, and their families. I have training in child development, special needs support, and hands-on experience caring for kiddos and youths of ages infant - 14. I am available to support with light housekeeping, laundry, homework help, cooking, crafting, and self-care activities. I am bilingual and speak English and Spanish fluently. Although I do not have a car and move around via public transit, I do have a license and am available to run errands or provide safe transportation for children if a car is provided. I am vaccinated and boosted, and continue to practice covid-safety.
