Ilona was our full-time nanny for a year in 2023, when our kid was 7 month until 18 months old, and we only parted ways when we moved away from the Bay Area. She was patient, caring, super reliable and hard-working, and great at following what we wanted for our son (eg introducing solids, keep him out of the sun). It was our first time hiring a nanny and honestly I only realized with hindsight how lucky we were. She had no issues keeping our kid happy even with parents working from home!
