About Michi

Hi! I'm Michi, born and raised in Japan and a mom of two. I stayed home with my children for 13 years, and caring for little ones is truly where my heart is. I believe babies are capable of so much. Through songs, play, and everyday conversation, I taught my own kids numbers, the alphabet, and more than 10 colors before they turned 12 months old. I bring that same playful, patient approach to every baby I care for. I've also worked as a paraeducator at SJGE and taught special education at CHS, where I learned to be calm, attentive, and responsive to each child's needs. I'm happy to share Japanese songs and words, too! I hold a BS in Psychology from Washington State University and an MBA from UC Davis. I'm energetic, love to laugh, and babies light up around me. I'm also extremely punctual, so you can always count on me to show up on time and ready to go.
