About Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda, I am from the Bay Area and moved here to Citrus Heights in 2021. Growing up, I knew I wanted to work with children. I'm the oldest of six, so caring for younger siblings has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've also cared for children for family members and friends, which has helped me become patient, dependable, and comfortable with children of different ages 0-13 for over 10 years. I enjoy creating a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and have fun. I love spending time outdoors, preparing home-cooked meals, and encouraging activities that keep children engaged and active. I have reliable transportation and can assist with school pick-ups and drop-offs, homework, light housekeeping, and keeping children's routines running smoothly. I'm also comfortable caring for families with pets. Families can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and caring, and to treat every child with patience and kindness.
