After working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) for 18 years, I entered the field of nursing for people and have been doing so for the past 5 years in assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation and home care. I'm confident with helping adults and seniors with physical and/or mental challenges and disabilities with activities of daily living including cleaning, laundry, toileting, bathing, dressing, meal prep, feeding, medication management and prompting, urinary catheter and incontinence care, ostomy care, hospice and providing gentle guidance to those with dementia, Alzheimer, anxiety or depression.
