About Maureen

Caring for my grandparents, within their home, over 10 years ago, was the reason I became a nurse aide. Both suffered from different kinds of cancer, and I saw every aspect of how illness affects the entire family. You want only the best care for your loved one, and being raised in a close, wonderful, and caring family, I learned first hand what it means to be an exceptional caregiver. I have worked in Assisted Living facilities, for agencies, and through private families. I am C. N. A. trained, and C. P. R. certified. I have additional training through Hope Network Rehabilitation Service, which included proper transfer techniques, including the Hoyer lift (both manual and electric), sliding boards, and a gait belt. I have over 10 years of experience in caring for older adults with dementia, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, diabetes, incontinence issues, elimination issues, catheter and bag usage, proper commode transfers, wound care, med-box set up, dispensing and documentation of medications, giving insulin, drawing blood, monitoring vitals, oxygen tank and equipment experience, and assistance with showers/baths and personal grooming. I love what I do, and provide only the best care possible.
