About Michaela

Hi, I'm Michaela! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and over 5 years of experience as a professional nanny and babysitter. I have experience working in a private school as a substitute and with after-school care. Working with children has always been my passion, and I love creating a safe and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow and have fun! I love balancing fun and structure, whether that's building forts, exploring a park, reading books together, helping with homework and tutoring, or supporting a child's unique interests! I have a background in music as a classically trained musician. I am able to support your children in any musical practice they have or just exploring and engaging with music! I have multiple years of house management/ family assistant experience as well, which can be discussed for a separate or additional hourly rate! Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled shift will be charged 50% of the scheduled booking amount.
