About Mia

I was raised in Alabama and moved to Florida about two years ago for the Disney College Program. Growing up with 10 siblings, seven younger than me, I naturally stepped into a second mother role. I spent three and a half years as a nanny for a boy from ages three to seven, gaining hands on experience with development and daily routines. I also taught childcare at my church, caring for groups of 15 to 20 children while teaching engaging biblical lessons. This past year, I began working at Quay Church as a childcare provider and still help there whenever I can. Outside of childcare, I love running, playing tennis, and staying active, and I offer beginner tennis lessons as a fun extra. I studied culinary science at Auburn University and enjoy sharing my love for cooking with the families I work with. I create a safe, fun, and positive space where kids can learn and just be kids.
