About Amia

Hi! My name is Amia, I'm 19 years old and have always had a passion for caring for children. As the oldest of three siblings, I've spent most of my life helping care for younger kids. From feeding, bathing, and bedtime routines to teaching them how to swim, helping around the house, and supporting them as they grow. childcare has always been a big part of my life. For the past two years, I've volunteered in my church's babies and toddlers ministry, caring for children ages 0-3. In this role, I've received childcare training, including first aid instruction. I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow. I'm currently in college and have completed my nursing prereqs. I'll be starting nursing school in January 2027, with the goal of becoming a Labor and Delivery nurse. I'd describe my personality as reliable, caring, and hardworking!! In my spare time, I like to read, go out on hikes, and paint:)
