About Mia

Hi families! My name is Mia, and I'm a dedicated, experienced childcare provider with over 7 years of babysitting experience working with children of all ages-from newborns to teenagers. I have a genuine passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where kids can learn, grow, and feel supported. Professionally, I began my career as a TK (Transitional Kindergarten) teacher, where I developed a strong foundation in early childhood education and classroom management. I later stepped into a leadership role as the Assistant Director of the TK program, where I supported curriculum development, staff coordination, and family communication. Currently, I am working as a first grade teacher. These experiences have shaped me into a highly organized, proactive, and dependable caregiver. I also had the incredible opportunity to work as an au pair in New Zealand, which expanded my perspective, adaptability, and ability to confidently care for children in other environments!
