Hello, I'm Melody. I am 31 years old and have been nannying and babysitting part time off and on for about 10 years now, and I love it, as well as all animals! I have spent the last 3 years as a behavioral therapist working with autistic children. I have my associates degree in human and social services, a certificate in child development, and am currently finishing my bachelor's in communication sciences and disorders. I am EEC and first aid and CPR certified. I am able to do everything when it comes to taking care of kids: change diapers, put them down for naps, clean up all types of messes, give them medicine when needed, teach them new activities and other educational steps, bathe them, cook for and feed them, dress them, entertain them, handle emergency situations when needed, and so forth. Safety is my number one priority always. I am a very responsible, dependable, extremely patient, and upbeat person who has a passion for working with children.

I hired Melody to nanny for my 1.5 year-old and I wish I could write her a wonderful review because I think she is a very kind and patient person. However, after her first day she revealed that her fee was incorrectly listed on Care.com. She was unwilling to compromise or apologize in light of her mistake and so we had to part ways. I am disappointed to see that her fee is still incorrectly listed over a month later.
