About Marie

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, adventurous, creative, friendly, curious, encouraging, funny and respectful. I like working with kids because I love their honesty, creativity and openness. I am a retired elementary school and I have 10 grandchildren ranging in age from 4 years to 12 years. I have lots of experience and plenty of love to share! I'm looking for a job that I can help children learn about the world and all it has to offer. I started working with kids when I was in college... I majored in Education. In my spare time, I like to read, garden, knit, cook, sew, do crafts.... One thing you should know about me is that I am honest and hard-working. My skills include being gentle but firm when necessary, offering help when needed and respecting a child's space.
