About Melissa

Hi, I'm Melissa but I go by mj! I believe that children are tiny humans with full personalities that we, as adults, get to nurture and gently guide as they are young. Being a helper to a family is a gift, especially to those who are eager to see their littles thrive and want to provide an environment in which that is possible. I enjoy being outside, playing games & puzzles, and reading to your children. I am comfortable caring for up to two children of all ages. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to rules and communication. I am dedicated to creating a safe place for your little humans to grow. I am passionate about working with a family who is open-minded, compassionate and curious! I'm currently a counseling graduate student with over a decade experience working with children, as well as having been a licensed massage therapist. In my off time, I study, run, read and watch silly shows.
