About Melissa

I'm a mom of two teenagers, so I've experienced all the stages of childhood! I love helping kids learn, explore, build confidence and reach new milestones. I'm naturally happy, bubbly, creative and playful, while also bringing a calm, patient and nurturing approach to caregiving. I spent several years homeschooling my kids, developing a passion for making everyday experiences educational and fun. We loved spending time outdoors, exploring parks and joining local activities. I hold a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and have experience working with children with special needs as well. I love connecting with each child's unique personality and needs, whether we're playing, creating, exploring or working through big emotions. I believe in working as a team with parents, respecting your parenting style and routines. My goal is to provide a safe, positive, nurturing environment where children feel supported, have fun and thrive.
