About Shannon

Hi! I am a 28yo in Bellingham! Moved here this year from Maine, but grew up in New York! I have over 8 years of nannying experience (with a few more of casual babysitting) and love creating a safe, engaging environment where kids can learn, explore, and have fun. My style is largely respectful parenting and Montessori play, while always supporting the routines and values that work best for your family. I have culinary and pastry degrees and have worked in all kinds of kitchens since graduating in 2018. I am currently Dietary Manager at a childcare center in town! I enjoy making nutritious meals for the family, including the children in every step of the process. Equally love reading all the books, getting creative with crafts and games or exploring town. I'm fully vaccinated, have reliable transportation, don't smoke, and currently am looking to support after-school care, weekends and date nights. I do have quite a few tattoos, but they're almost all produce themed so nothing scary!
