I volunteered at Wynhoven for a number of years in high school. My grandmother was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2008 and I took care of her till fall of 2009. I gave her her medicine, changed her dressings, fed her, and just really gave her tender love & care, and COMPANY. That is what made me really passionate about caring for the elderly. I also took care of a friend of my family's for 2 years.
