I've spent many years nannying and two years ago I had my first elder care job. My job was with a 97-year-old woman named Bernice and I helped assist with her meals, reminding her to take her meds, doing her exercises with her, reading, taking her on walks, and listening to her stores and chatting. I am available to be a companion as well as help out around the house and run errands.
