I have been nannying and babysitting for 12 years. The past many years, I have been a summer nanny. I am currently working as a teacher in the Winton Woods City School District. I teach third and fourth grade music to multiple diversities of students. I teach students that range from the gifted category, to at risk. Our school includes many emotionally troubled students (ED), students with multiple handicaps (MH/MD), and students from a widely diverse background and family life. In high school and college, I worked at a local childcare center with the Cincinnati Sports Mall, caring for children ranging from six months to 12 years of age. Growing up, I babysat for many families in the Hyde park area, most of which attended my elementary school, St. Mary's.

Megan is an incredible caregiver. She has been the summer nanny for my children the past 2 summers. Megan is very engaging with the children, she finds so many creative activities to do with them, things I have never even thought of doing with my children. She's extremely reliable, caring, and will not allow the children to be disrespectful. She appropriately corrects children with conversation and does a wonderful job explaining situations, cause and effect with them so that they understand why an action was not appropriate and what could result from certain behaviors or choices. She's not a "lazy" sitter by any means, she makes sure they are fed well while in her care. She's not one to slack on their nutritional needs. She loves being outdoors, going to parks, getting ice cream, etc. We live near the river, she liked to take the kids to feed the ducks. My children love Megan, I trust her completely and never worried when my children were with her.
