About Megan

Megan worked with my two kids (ages 10 and 6) for 30 hours a week from October, 2020, until March, 2021. She primarily helped my kindergartener navigate online learning while my husband and I were working from home, and she also interacted with my 5th grader really well. Her time with us ended when the kids went back to school on campus and we no longer needed help. We will certainly call her if we ever need help again. Megan is a sweet, lovely person. She is responsible, mature, and polite. We were nervous about hiring someone during COVID, but as soon as we met Megan, we trusted her, and that trust was borne out. She was consistently on top of my son’s schedule and daily needs, dealt with technology and academic issues effectively, and conferred with me when necessary. She’s respectful of children (and adults!) and interested in kids’ development. She’s quiet by nature, but can still be playful. We were all in the house together all day, and Megan professionally navigated what could have been an awkward situation. She also helped out with the dishes and tidying up. Her attitude was relaxed—she followed my son’s lead-- but she was able to keep our kids from bothering me and my husband at work. I never saw her get stressed out or angry, which is saying a lot given the tumultuous months we were all experiencing! Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
