About Abigail

With a BA in Child and Adolescent Development and a minor in Family Studies it is safe to say I enjoy working with children and their families! I am currently a preschool master teacher in Venice teaching two and a half to 3-year-olds and I LOVE it! I also was a full time nanny for a girl when she was 2-3. While I was achieving my degree at California State University, Northridge I worked at the Children's Center on campus were I acquired 4 semesters worth of experience assistant teaching preschool age children (2-5) in different classrooms. I also did a semester at the CSUN Lab school with older preschool aged children (4&5), where I worked as another assistant. I currently preform respite care for a family with a 7-year-old autistic child as well as babysit on occasion another 7-year-old girl. Overall I truly enjoy caring for a working with young children and their families. I admire their excitement to learn and I enjoy engaging with them through activities and new experiences.
