Hi there! I am a nanny working in the Beaverton/Portland area. I have been working as a childcare provider since 2012 with little ones ranging anywhere from 4 months to 12 years of age. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED certified for adults, infants, and children and have experience working with type 1 diabetic children as well as children with autism. I am also a recent college graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice from Western Oregon University. On top of all that boring stuff, I have also been told that I am a top-notch fort builder, a master of all crafts involving glitter, and perhaps most importantly, a chicken nugget artisan. Kenzie is absolutely wonderful. As a first-time mom going back to work when my baby was 5mo old it was nerve-wracking to find a nanny in the middle of the novel Coronavirus outbreak. Kenzie is the reason I've been able to make going back to work possible. She puts our baby first from the minute she arrives (always on time and super reliable) and he is so enamored of her. She has a great way with our baby and it seems to come naturally to her - she's patient, and observant of him, and inventive with ways to keep him busy - I've learned things from her that give ME ideas about how to take care of this little one! She's also a pleasure to have around the house, as we WFH now we spend a lot of time together and she's been so easy to work with - she's great at communicating with us.
