About Mckenna

Hi! My name is McKenna I'm 21 years old and located in the Ballantyne-Charlotte area. I've always had a heart for working with children. I spent my earlier years volunteering at my local church, creating lessons and fun activities for different age youth groups. During college, I worked at our on-campus daycare, helping teachers with daily routines and making sure the kids felt cared for and supported. I now work full-time Monday through Friday as a teacher for 12-18-month-olds at an early development center. I absolutely love this age - watching them learn new words, explore the world around them, and grow more confident each day is so special to me. No matter where I'm serving, my goal is always the same: to create a safe, loving, and fun environment where children feel secure, valued, and excited to learn and grow.
